Atala 57cm Vintage Road Bike Frameset
Vintage early 1980′s italian made Atala 57cm Road Bike Frameset with fork Campagnolo headset and Campagnolo bottom bracket and CycleArt paint. Classic long dropouts as shown, which make it a good choice for use as a fixed gear frame too.
Traditional Italian craftsmanship. It’s from the early 1980′s which is easily verifiable by the decals which commemorate the Atala brand’s 1982 victory at the Giro.

Classic long dropouts as shown, which make it a good choice for use as a fixed gear frame too.
CONDITION: Overall in good used condition. Original paint was replaced at some point with a very expensive CycleArt paint job as shown. No dents or dings, as shown in the photos but there are numerous paint imperfections and scratches as shown. The paint is of the highest quality, but there are definitely visible paint imperfections where paint has been scraped off in some places as described and as shown in the photos. theres a noticeale scrape off of paint under the top tube where you’d only see it if you got underneath the bike to look for it, and assorted small paint imperfections. Otherwise it looks really nice, the CycleArt paint jobs cost a fortune and they use very high quality paints so it’s got a nice sheen to the dark blue color. Classic frame for the discerning road rider. Classic long dropouts as shown, which make it a good choice for use as a fixed gear frame too. The Campagnolo downtube shifters work fine, and they can be easily removed if you prefer to use those braze ons to to use modern STI/Ergo type lever cable mounting guides on those stops instead of the old style shifters.The included steel Campagnolo headset and bottom bracket are in serviceable used condition. The headset is perfectly useable but a tiny bit rough, same with the bottom bracket, so they are definitely a FREE add in to the auction for the frame. They’re in pretty good shape and perfectly rideable, but just not spot on perfect as is to be expected on a frameset of this vintage. Everything but the frame and fork is to be considered a FREE add in to the frame auction. Sold as is, as shown and as described. Thanks!
